About the role 

This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to contribute across all aspects of product marketing for SignEasy’s web and mobile apps (android and iOS) users. This role is based at our Bangalore, India location and will report to the head of digital marketing. 


SignEasy has users across 3 platforms i.e. our Web-app, Android app, and iOS app. On these apps,  we have different types of users - free users, individual- paid subscribers and business users. The KPI for our product marketing specialist is to drive product usage, conversions (paid-subscriptions), and referrals from our user base. You would be a good fit here if you have experience in marketing automation, possess creativity, attention to detail and can ideate to execute proactively. 

The role will entail the following:

  • Understand and define the user journey of customers across SignEasy’s web and mobile apps. 
  • Build an engagement plan for our free and paid user base to drive product usage, conversions, and referrals.
  • Segment users, create personalized and targeted communications for emails, chats, social media, etc. based on user segment, engagement, purchase history, and other relevant events. 
  • Setup and manage the full consumer journey across email (drip and triggered campaigns), chat and push notifications. 
  • Create and maintain reports for the above channels, and analyze data to derive insights about user behavior. 
  • Launch initiatives (eg. newsletter, new website pages, case studies) and campaigns to drive new feature education, product usage, conversion, and referrals from our users. 
  • Create sales enablement content for business leads and leverage distribution via owned media (emails, website, app, etc.)  to drive onboarding, engagement, activation/reactivation.
  • Work with fellow marketing, content, design, and data team members to create highly impactful relevant and targeted content.
  • Optimize performance of engagement campaigns by running experiments with clear success and failure metrics (i.e. A/B testing, multivariate tests, etc.) to optimize engagement metrics. 

Skill set & Personality

  • Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverable to execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a bias for making measurable, data-driven decisions. Experience in using analytics tools like Mixpanel, Google analytics is good to have. 
  • 3-5 years of experience developing lifecycle programs and setting up marketing automation campaigns using tools like Mailchimp, Intercom, WebEngage/Unbounce, Drift, etc. 
  • Experience in drafting communication for emails, landing pages, and push notifications
  • Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, and visual.
  • Ability to thrive in startups with a fast-paced environment and take ownership for working through ambiguity.
